For the buyer

  1. 01

    For designers and developers

The foundations you rebuild on every project — colour, type, components, icons, imagery — in one fast workspace. Free, nothing to install, and it runs entirely in your browser.

  2. 02

    One workspace, every foundation

Six tool systems instead of a dozen open tabs: colour, typography, UI components, icons & emoji, imagery & media, and an AI studio. Build a system in one place and keep it coherent.

  3. 03

    Build, validate, export

Generate palettes from colour theory and check contrast, pair fonts and lock a type scale, design components with live preview — then export production-ready CSS. Foundations that leave the tool ready to use.

Project note

UIL4B started as a private utility — the toolkit I kept rebuilding for every project — and I eventually shipped it as one workspace for building UI systems. It runs six tool systems in the browser: a colour system generator (palettes, tints, gradients and contrast), a typography builder that pairs fonts and locks a modular scale, a UI component builder with live preview and CSS export, a 200k-icon and full-emoji library, imagery and media tools for converting and framing assets, and an AI studio for prompts, pages and alt text. Everything runs client-side — free to start, no credit card. The hero frames behind these words were extracted and re-encoded with UIL4B's own media tools; it eats its own dogfood.

UIL4B — the unified workspace, every tool in one place
One workspace instead of a dozen open tabs. Six tool systems share a single shell, so a design system stays coherent while you build it.
UIL4B — Colour System Generator: palettes, tints, gradients & contrast
The colour system generator: build palettes from colour theory, ramp tints and shades, and check contrast before a value ever reaches code.
UIL4B — Typography: a modular type scale with live preview
Lock a modular type scale and preview every step live — the ratio is a decision, not an accident.
UIL4B — font pairing across 1,900+ Google Fonts
Font pairing across the full Google Fonts library, previewed in situ rather than in a specimen sheet.
UIL4B — Icons & Emoji: 200k+ icons via Iconify, copy-ready
200k+ icons via Iconify plus the full emoji set, searchable and copy-ready in the same window as everything else.
UIL4B — Imagery & Media: convert and compress images locally
Imagery and media tools that convert and compress entirely in the browser — nothing uploaded, nothing queued. The hero frames on this site came out of here.
